Akershus Fortress, May 8

On Akershus Fortress, the tradition continues as the nation gathers to honor Norway's veterans, from World War II to today’s international operations in over 40 countries. More than 100,000 Norwegians have participated in such missions, and this day is dedicated to them.

As part of the commemoration, our sustainable arena and event flooring was chosen as the flooring solution for a large event tent at the fortress grounds. In just 60 minutes, one person could easily lay out approximately 85 square meters of flooring – quickly, efficiently, and without the need for specialized tools.

The result? A warm, welcoming floor that created a professional atmosphere and elevated the entire event!

Tylösand, the most famous beach, is a gem where up to 40,000 people can enjoy the sun on a warm summer day. Here, you’ll find Sweden’s only staffed lifeguard station as well as the Nordic region’s only lifeguard school – a safe place for both locals and visitors.

To ensure easy access and smooth operations during events, we installed our arena and event flooring directly on the beautiful sandy beach, providing participants with a safe and comfortable path to the conference area. This flooring system is perfect for outdoor events, whether it's conferences, parties, or other major events.
